Leopard fan, Challenger II is not actually a bad tank, the problem is; no economies of scale, only the British use it, there's no commonality of parts nor training, really, if you're going to ask the taxpayer to pay for tanks, should be Abrams or Leopard, everything else is a bad deal.Speaker to Animals wrote:I thought you were a Panther fan.
There's 10,000 Abrams, 7,000 Leopard II's, there was only ever 446 Challenger II's built.
It's not like Maggie Thatcher never made any mistakes, should have converted the British Army to Abrams or Leopard when she had the chance, instead of caving in to AlvisVickers.
