That's the fucking problem. In the city limits there are too many filthy hippies. They won't let anybody hunt the bears. The bears are living off humans. The bears don't give a shit about fear. They will walk right the fuck up to you.
It was about two years ago that one of them pulled a kid out of his hammock and almost killed him. They flew the kid out to the regional hospital, but I am sure he was pretty well fucked by the experienced.
Then last year there was another attack. The rangers in both national parks are trying to figure out how to deal with it.
