I have a Norton 3 stone system I use in conjunction with other stone. I've used most methods. Emery clothe on glass, you name it.

My mother in law and I went halves on a sig p238. I picked rainbow titanium. It was a Christmas present for the wife. Flawless little gun and the trijicon night sights are on point.

Love the 66, its a beautiful piece. I have a thing for stainless; although I think its more about image than utility.

I won't kick it out of bed for munching crackers, but given the choice I'll take my own 1911 build 8 days a week.
You gonna strip that 1911 down in the mud in the middle of combat under fire tho? If you just crawled through a swamp, and you shoot your primary dry in contact and have to go to the sidearm, odds are, you didn't have time to stop and clean it, after you crawled out of the mire like the Swamp Thing.

My grandpa had one that would load something like ten rounds through the butt followed by a rod. I think it was a semi. I'm in the gun thread so it's ok.

I was in Recce Platoon, and we fuckin' lived in swamps n' shit, never mind completely fouled with gritty assed mud, automatic sidearms literally rusted where we were hanging out, we were up to our tits in swamp mudder, shit, even when we was sleeping. Might be able to keep your rifle up to snuff in that, but you don't want the sidearm if it's just gonna be rusted dead weight when you hit the objective on dry land again.

Nylon 66?

One of my grandfathers had one of those also.

Why are you posting wikis to polymer chains?
