I was wrong. Calling a journalist fake -nothing compared to the pain of a racial slur. I should not have said it. I apologize

CNN’s Chris Cuomo: ‘I see being called fake news as the equivalent of the n-word for journalists’
https://archive.is/EUjRiAttacks on the press for being ‘fake news’ have become a staple of President Trump‘s rhetoric, with CNN — hosts/reporters included — often being called out by name.
“The only thing that’s bothersome about it, is that I see being called ‘fake news’ as the equivalent of the n-word for journalists, the equivalent of calling an Italian any of the ugly words that people have for that ethnicity. That’s what fake news is to a journalist.,” CNN’s Chris Cuomo told Michael Smerconish on SiriusXM POTUS (Ch. 124) Thursday.
“It is an ugly insult and you better be right if you’re going to charge a journalist with lying on purpose and the president was not right here and he has not been right in the past,” Cuomo added.

Sounds like that Snowflake thinks Jounalists should be some specially protected profession. I detest that line of thought.

Re: Fake News
Fake News claiming Trump was LITERALLY asking this woman to act as his personal secretary and sincere in his request to her to set up a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. The context of Trump's remarks were totally in jest yet there are actually pundits on both CNN and MSNBC citing this comment as an example of the chaos in the WH.
Sometimes I feel like this is pre-WWI blame shifting. The Press is trying to build a narrative for when the time to act arrives they can look back at the "paper of record" and to say they acted justly.
Reporter: Will you meet with the Congressional Black Caucus?
Trump: "I would. You want to set up the meeting? Are they friends of yours?"
https://twitter.com/BuzzFeedNews/status ... 0982799360
CNN anchors LITERALLY crying for being repeatedly call the "Nigger of the News". (John Lennon, Yoko, Cuomo ref:BTFO)

Re: Fake News
I had a slap-in-the-face moment with NPR yesterday during rush hour (I rarely drive and as such rarely listen to NPR)
I am used to NPR 1) editorializing to the left, which I can deal with, and 2) not telling the other side of the story (i.e. in a story about possible mandaotry maternity leave and pay, not mentioning that it will likely lead to less jobs for women of a certain age).
BUT this was a slap in the face. I just happened to glance at the transcript of Trump's press conference while I was bored on the train back from NYC, otherwise I would have never know.
NPR news plays a Q from the media: "there have been more reports of anti-semitism since you were elected, what's the deal?"
Trump first sentences are rambling self promotion, I won the electoral college, big victory, you know the drill, same old narcissism.
And then NPR just cut the tape, and the anchors commented that Trump didn't answer the question.
Look what NPR INTENTIONALLY left out:
This was no accident. You can make anyone look stupid by selecting just a couple sentences.
I knew things were bad, I didn't know they got so bad that NPR will purposefully cull the nice part of his answer.
Every single part of the system is out to destroy. Really is. Not a conspiracy.

Re: Fake News
Trump did say he was going to cut NPR funding so I suspect they will lower the curtain even more than normal.
That's the whole issue really, right now the lügenpresse has placed any and all credibility at the alter of Trump Failures.
If Trump succeeds, going forward every single news organization will have to purge their current talk show host because they will have 0.0 credibility.
Every politician being criticized by the press will legitimately be able to call the MSM Fake News citing their attack on Trump as evidence.
I pointed that out during the election. They staked the credibility on an HRC win and lost. Now they are left with sub 30% trust and the only way to recover is to find a way to justify their bias behavior.

Re: Fake News
Is this real news?
Press Release (English)
16 February, 2017
CIA espionage orders for the last French presidential election
All major French political parties were targeted for infiltration by the CIA's human ("HUMINT") and electronic ("SIGINT") spies in the seven months leading up to France's 2012 presidential election. The revelations are contained within three CIA tasking orders published today by WikiLeaks as context for its forth coming CIA Vault 7 series. Named specifically as targets are the French Socialist Party (PS), the National Front (FN) and Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) together with current President Francois Hollande, then President Nicolas Sarkozy, current round one presidential front runner Marine Le Pen, and former presidential candidates Martine Aubry and Dominique Strauss-Khan.
