We can shit post on the radio waves too. I don't understand why you are trying to justify your existence based on something you can barely understand.

I support a federal public option for health care that doesn't violate the constitution, absolutely.GrumpyCatFace wrote:....then surely you would support socialized healthcare as well?StCapps wrote:The US is the only country in the first world to grant birthright citizenship. Is it really so appalling to criticize the practice, when the rest of western civilization doesn't do things that way?MilSpecs wrote:His stance on birthright citizenship is not hateful, but wanting to strip citizens of their citizenship is pretty appalling. You have to betray the country or pledge fealty to a foreign power to get kicked out. But wait, let me think about this for a minute....
I don't. It is the other guy who is appalled that Trump would disagree with birthright citizenship.Penner wrote:Why do you think it's appalling to grant birthright citizenship to a country where 99% of it's people have immigrant ancestors?

Quite frankly, the Boomers not only did not invent the Internet and PC, they didn't dispense it neither, the Boomers pretty much shunned computers, it was invented by GG's and War Baby's, it was Gen X who embraced it, then the Millenials who inhereted what Gen X passed down to them.MilSpecs wrote:I bow to your greater historical knowledge, but we clearly are communicating via boomer dispensed technology. I lived through the birth of this age, and the Boomers were the least involved, it was Gen X who made it happen, not the Boomers.

I thought you were an old lady? You said something about the kids being grown and gone, I thought. Alright, no more hitting on Penner.Penner wrote:I have nothing against the Boomers, they made a mess out there but I can't stand Gen-Xers. Maybe it's because I am considered to be an early Millennial, and I have my generation has been shitted on by mostly them saying we are nothing be lazy worthless, snake people (I have love/hate that term. On one hand it does sound cool but on the other hand I know what the insult is trying to do), etc....TheReal_ND wrote:Boomers pretty much shit the bed on immigration. When they finally die off, the people actually effected by their treasonous policies will sort it out.

My parents were boomers too. It spanned a long period of time.Speaker to Animals wrote:MilSpecs wrote:

Boomers have not really done much at all. But, then, neither has Gen X. We are running on fumes right now.
BTW boomers and Gen x are doing something incredible right now in the field of medicine. It may change everything.

Tell that to Japan.Penner wrote:It's going to get a lot less white in the future and there is no way to stop it. I have no problem with it but if you think you can turn the tide on demographics, when the white demo is getting much older, you are wrong.TheReal_ND wrote:I'm simply using a term for our parents or grandparent's generation when they had nothing to fret about Mexicans and Squatemalns flooding their demographics. Remember, America was 80% white twenty years ago.

Perhaps saying that Mexico sends rapists here might get people thinking this way? No?Zlaxer wrote:Can a non-Trump supporter explain to me how Trump's stance on illegal immigration is hateful?
Trump simply uses such rhetoric that captures attention.

I also remember it, but it definitely started as an available technology in the late 70s early 80s. That would put it as late boomers early Gen x. My kids are the first generation to not remember things any other way (millenials).Smitty-48 wrote:Quite frankly, the Boomers not only did not invent the Internet and PC, they didn't dispense it neither, the Boomers pretty much shunned computers, it was invented by GG's and War Baby's, it was Gen X who embraced it, then the Millenials who inhereted what Gen X passed down to them.MilSpecs wrote:I bow to your greater historical knowledge, but we clearly are communicating via boomer dispensed technology.
