His stance on birthright citizenship is not hateful, but wanting to strip citizens of their citizenship is pretty appalling. You have to betray the country or pledge fealty to a foreign power to get kicked out. But wait, let me think about this for a minute....

The US is the only country in the first world to grant birthright citizenship. Is it really so appalling to criticize the practice, when the rest of western civilization doesn't do things that way?

I bow to your greater historical knowledge, but we clearly are communicating via boomer dispensed technology. I'm not saying everything from satellites to post to the Internet didn't start with earlier generations, but this all happened in our lifetimes.

Quite frankly, the Boomers not only did not invent the Internet and PC, they didn't dispense it neither, the Boomers pretty much shunned computers, it was invented by GG's and War Baby's, it was Gen X who embraced it, then the Millenials who inhereted what Gen X passed down to them.

I lived through the birth of this age, and the Boomers were the least involved, it was Gen X who made it happen, not the Boomers.

I have nothing against the Boomers, they made a mess out there but I can't stand Gen-Xers. We all live in the shadow of my grandparents' (your parents') generation. The greatest generation fought WW2, propelled humanity into space and to the Moon, explored the solar system, got civil rights passed a second time, built the internet, and more.

Boomers have not really done much at all. But, then, neither has Gen X. We are running on fumes right now.

My parents were boomers too. It spanned a long period of time.

BTW boomers and Gen x are doing something incredible right now in the field of medicine. It may change everything.

I'm simply using a term for our parents or grandparent's generation when they had nothing to fret about Mexicans and Squatemalns flooding their demographics. Remember, America was 80% white twenty years ago.

I also remember it, but it definitely started as an available technology in the late 70s early 80s. That would put it as late boomers early Gen x. My kids are the first generation to not remember things any other way (millenials).
