Good analysis by the sports guys.
So, Sergio lied on his resume ? or is that a joke?

I mean . . . ESPN, right? Why would he have to lie? He already possesses all the qualities they're looking for these days.

@ Fife
Well, they get to decide what is appropriate and what is not.
I don't know how they actually do that, have separate standards and able to look so indignant.

What's going on with Lawrence Timmons?C-Mag wrote:'SilverEagle wrote:
Don't sleep on the Vikings. Sam Bradford is due to come back in week 3. Their defense is tough and they have a potent offense with Bradford under center. Also the Steeler's Defense is setup to be something special with T.J. Watt in the game. Hell they were in the back field almost every play and as soon as they pulled him out due to injury they still produced pressure but not nearly as much.
Yeah, I like the Vikings coach. He's a No BS, No Excuses guy. Lost Bridgewater when his leg exploded, fine we'll adjust. Lost Bradford, fine, we'll adjust. The NFC North is an interesting Division, anyone can win that Division except the Bears.
My Phins won a tough game in Carson, CA against the once again LA Chargers. I think there might be a Young Hoe looking for some work soon in Los Angeles. Phins go Zero respect in the post game shows. One show, you would have thought the Chargers won. Not one of them made any point that Ajayi had 122 yards and Landry had 13 catches. PERFECT. I actually don't like the media tuning into my team too much, they just cause trouble. Let the Phins feel disprespected. There was a real seriousness to the Phins post game show, and I sensed solidarity amongst the team. Time will tell, tough road ahead. I liked Cam Wakes comments when asked about losing the bye week.
' There's bigger things than football going on here. No one is going to care that we have to play 16 games straight, not our opponents, not the media. We have a job to do. The time for Whining is long over.'

I hope he's okay. I always like him as a Steeler.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

Re: NFL 2017
No one really knows right now, team is keeping very tight lipped about it. He turned up missing, Dolphins contacted the police, police found him at the airport boarding a flight to Pennsylvania.
Word is he has a wife or mother of his children in PA. So best guess is something going on with his kids or woman serious enough he felt he needed to leave the team immediately. Gase said he hoped to address this situation today or tomorrow.
Definitely could have used him on the field yesterday. He's pretty key, Dolphins are weak at Linebacker.

Timmons suspended indefinitely.
After dealing with what one source described as "a personal matter" this weekend, Miami Dolphins linebacker Lawrence Timmons is scheduled to meet Monday with doctors to try to figure out what is wrong, per sources. One source said Timmons is "doing much better [Monday] and wants to resume playing immediately"........
The 31-year-old Timmons, entering his 11th NFL season, was dealing with his personal matter Saturday and returned to the team early Sunday morning before the Dolphins decided he wasn't in a good place to play against the Los Angeles Chargers. His streak of?101 consecutive starts was snapped.
Following the Dolphins' 19-17 victory over the Chargers, coach Adam Gase would only say that Timmons didn't play Sunday due to a coach's decision.
On Monday, he declined to discuss Timmons' future with the team.
"I'm kind of dealing with the guys that played,'' Gase said.
Gase declined to say whether Timmons might play Sunday at the? New York Jets. But the coach said his only rules for players are to be on time and play hard.
His tolerance for a violation of those rules?
"What do you think?'' he said. "I've got two rules. It's not hard.''

I'm not happy it happened, but I like how Gase handled it.

Miami has already signed another Linebacker from NO Saints. Gase isn't messing around. What's more impressive is this is a team in desperate need of good linebackers, with Timmons now gone they have 3 starting Linebackers out. A man of lesser standards may not have toed a hard line in this situation.
