Plus . . . you're getting responses on FB/Twitter too - even if it's not driving traffic here. In fact, common practice is to include an instruction/command for a viewer to take if you want a specific response. That means if the goal is to drive traffic to the forums, every piece of media should conclude with "Visit our forums at: https://www.martinhash.com/forums/ now."

Sounds stupid, right? But all the marketing books and gurus include it in their spiel. Give info -> issue command -> reap rewards.

I've pitched this forum literally 100s of times with little success, pre-fame. I know the people who have been signing up, and it's because of the additional fame we've been generating. I think the focus should still be fame, then my personal appeal will work. People come 'cuz that famous guy runs it, and the great debater folks here need to be able to keep them.

Anecdotal story:
My old company literally remade how demonstration booths are handled on the tradeshow circuit. We had a fantastic product, and fantastic demonstrators but we couldn't attract a crowd UNLESS WE ALREADY HAD ONE. If we had a crowd, OMG, the fire-marshals would come. To get the first few people, I would go to the booth and stand there until someone came up to talk to me: that would start the ball rolling.

I'm finding the Hashcasts fit a lot more easily into the Economic PB groups than the political ones.
In fact, I'm not sure that I've gotten a single Hashcast into a "progressive" group yet.
Mostly they go into Libertarian, Economics, and a couple of conservative groups.

Progressives though, they're not hearing that shit.
In fact, I haven't cracked what they're hearing yet.

Every day I "Add Friend" about 10 people. I look to see how many common Friends we have, if they are Friends with someone political I know, and not related to my extended family. About half accept, and starting from 1 (my "Martin D. Hash" FB account) it is now up to 100. Only 40X that to go...

Yeah, was able to get your "Elite Pricing" out to a couple progressive groups. Didn't seem to generate much feedback yet. I saw you had 17 or so responses to something in Libertarian tho?
