Put Trump aside and take measure of his key advisors.
Steve Bannon
Mike Flynn
Barron Trump
So you take that group, the people he talks to last before making decisions then measure their worth.
Bannon and Flynn give you a hard to predict 4-d chess player.

Grumpy is totally right. Personally know several millionaires who fell forward with the aid of good accounting.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Money is not an indicator of intelligence, sorry. And the set of skills needed to connive and thrive in NYC real estate are not the same as those needed to run the most powerful country on earth.Speaker to Animals wrote:Well, based on his college entrance exams and a lifetime of achievement, I'd say Trump is one of the smartest persons ever to hold that office. I guess it might fluff up your ego to disparage his intelligence and pretend like you know better, but I don't see you flying around in your own 747, building skyscrapers with your name on them all over the world, winning the presidency against all odds, with pretty much the entire establishment and media trying to destroy you, and so on.
Fact is, you don't achieve these kinds of things consistently without some significantly above-average brain power.
George W. Bush or Hillary Clinton are examples of low IQ people achieving failure again and again, despite having all the resources and advantages arrayed on their side.
Statements like these do absolutely nothing to give me faith in what's coming. His rhetoric is grade-school level, he's clearly unaware of global politics, and publicly responds to every internet/Twitter provocation. These are the actions of an imbecile, not a genius.
Is it still possible that things turn out fine? sure. But I'm not confident whatsoever.

If we're judging a president by his advisors, then Nixon was the best ever. Kissinger probably saved the planet more than a few times.kybkh wrote:Put Trump aside and take measure of his key advisors.

The ability to acquire large amounts of capital and keep it most certainly is correlated to higher IQ. It's always been that way. The people who tend to accumulate the most resources amongst their peers in a stable economic system tend to have higher than average IQs.
Not all high-IQ individuals build large amounts of wealth and success, but most of the individuals who do build large amounts of wealth and success are high IQ. That kind of high-stakes business is an intellectual contest.

McCaffery called Flynn the best intel officer of our generation before calling him insane.
The intel that man carries is hard to imagine. The main thing he was working on at DIA was making mass data collection more usable.
I don't know tons about Bannon but people seem to fear him.

I admire your faith in the system. However, I suspect that you haven't met many millionaires... Not an insult, just an observation.

I was hoping some of the older folks would notice...adwinistrator wrote:They're the type of people who probably believe that there comes a time when we need to heed a certain call, when the world must come together as one.California wrote:Why are people mad about "America First?"
You are literally shooting yourself in the foot if you are an American and don't believe in America First
You've seen their annoying facebook posts, crying about how there are people dying, and that it's time to lend a hand (to life), cause that's the greatest gift of all.
Whining non-stop about the people who think that someone else, somewhere will soon make a change.
The type with the audacity to think that they know the truth of what God wants, that we're all a great big family, and that love is all you need.
