Yes, he did. He said it was 'the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period.' This was in addition to several other blatant, provable lies.

This is really the central issue of "Trump" for me, and probably a huge percentage of Americans. Is he really that fucking stupid, or a stealthy genius?

According to every advisor I've heard from - including two of his campaign managers - he doesn't listen to much of anyone. Ever. Is that a tactic? Lewandowski sure toed the line LONG after being shut out, so who knows?

Well, based on his college entrance exams and a lifetime of achievement, I'd say Trump is one of the smartest persons ever to hold that office. I guess it might fluff up your ego to disparage his intelligence and pretend like you know better, but I don't see you flying around in your own 747, building skyscrapers with your name on them all over the world, winning the presidency against all odds, with pretty much the entire establishment and media trying to destroy you, and so on.


Fact is, you don't achieve these kinds of things consistently without some significantly above-average brain power.

George W. Bush or Hillary Clinton are examples of low IQ people achieving failure again and again, despite having all the resources and advantages arrayed on their side.

Money is not an indicator of intelligence, sorry. And the set of skills needed to connive and thrive in NYC real estate are not the same as those needed to run the most powerful country on earth.

Statements like these do absolutely nothing to give me faith in what's coming. His rhetoric is grade-school level, he's clearly unaware of global politics, and publicly responds to every internet/Twitter provocation. These are the actions of an imbecile, not a genius.

Is it still possible that things turn out fine? sure. But I'm not confident whatsoever.
