It's not a "challenge", it's a binary choice, the right cannot win, naively clinging to democracy is simply signing the death warrant of the right, Hitler wasn't right about everything, but he was right about one thing, this can only be decided by force, democracy is merely the peaceful transfer of power, but in that paradigm, is the doom of conservatives, they can either commit slow motion political suicide, or drop the pretense that Demos is not a creature of the left by his very nature.

I visit flyover country at least once a year. I can tell you that none of this shit is going on there. Nerd's family - uber conservative - they get along with gay people, black people, trans people.... even though their experience with them is limited. In Nerd's tiny hometown, there's a local cross dresser who rides around on his bike all dressed up. Everyone knows his name and says hi.

There's no screaming at the top of lungs yelling literally Hitler at each other.

I just don't know how prevalent this is. I think a vast majority of people are just busy living their lives, not too worried about Hitler or if a trans person goes into the "wrong" bathroom.
