For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

''But Hillary...'' is getting a bit old now.SuburbanFarmer wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 8:12 pmYes, like routing government email to a server in your basement, and then smashing it. This is a group chat. Yes it appears to be a real chat. What’s not real is that the SECDEF or NSA just accidentally brought in an asshole journalist and leaked top secret treason to him. It’s a dumb staffer who’s probably packing his bags, OR an intentional leak for some political gamesmanship.
No idea how you got to checks and balances, or a dipshit think tank piece from Heritage foundation (neocons) last year.
Or are you going back to congress declaring wars? Because we’ve all been doing the executive mass murder thing for decades now.
Bypass the checks and balances.
Like I say, it's all there in Project 25.
There are no remaining checks and balances on military action. Haven’t been since the invention of the A-bomb.

Once the precedent is set and accepted, it’s pretty absurd to freak out about it later.Montegriffo wrote: Thu Apr 03, 2025 2:35 pm''But Hillary...'' is getting a bit old now.SuburbanFarmer wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 8:12 pmYes, like routing government email to a server in your basement, and then smashing it. Hands up who still thinks tariffs are paid by the countries you impose them on and who has worked out they are just another tax on you?

You’re a fucking Marxist; when did you become such a conservative on taxes?
Everything that takes from someone to give to someone else is a tax. Marxism is the very definition of taxation.

So if tariffs are taxes paid for by the consumer and Trump is going to use the income to pay for more tax cuts for the rich, have you worked out who the sucker is yet?

I’ve seen you walking and quacking for a decade; don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.
