Yeah, it's the economy stupid, as BJ Clinton would say. We've been in an artificially propped up economy in the US since the Tech Bubble crash. We have 90 Million people out of the work force and around 45 Million on Foodstamps. Economy is job one. Fortunately for Trump, money is his background.
Trump doesn't really have to do radical things to get the economy going. First thing is back off stupid guvment regulations, second all in on energy production in the US, third favorable taxes to bring business back to the US, fourth show industrial production can still work in America.
More radical moves don't necessarily need to be done either. The mere threat of tariffs will bring countries to the bargaining table for more favorable deals. And most think the Trumpster is a little crazy anyway so that will work for him.
