I'm sure there is a litany of sources and quotes to back up his baseless claims.
If there's one thing I know about baseless ranger, it's that he backs up his baseless claims with evidence.

You're not wrong. There is a strong possibility of war over it. I'm just pointing out the immediate effects.Okeefenokee wrote:Idiot thinks the yuan is gonna take power without a war.

So what sources are we relying upon to claim that the world is ready to go to total war against the US just to give the world reserve currency to the communist nation most known for not respecting trade agreements?GrumpyCatFace wrote:You're not wrong. Oh look, another strawman. Oh, what's that? There isn't a nation on earth ready to take that gamble?
Okay, yuan by spring, folks.
Dipshit thinks our economic dominance is reliant on an invasion.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Oh look, another strawman. No, dipstick, nobody is attacking the us. At least not militarily. All they have to do is provide a viable alternative to our absurdly abused form of currency for oil - which they’ve done.
Odds are we find something to invade soon.

That's a hell of a way to talk about a woman even if you are paying her.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Deep state will never go down peacefully.Okeefenokee wrote:Dipshit thinks our economic dominance is reliant on an invasion.GrumpyCatFace wrote:

Kind of lost here. So you agree that the yuan cannot take over peacefully and that a war over it is a very probable scenario.GrumpyCatFace wrote:You're not wrong. Ok, I see how that could be confusing.Heraclius wrote:Kind of lost here. However, your later posts claim that it was a strawman to assume that China would be going to war with the US over it and that the US would be finding some other place to invade. However, the only way for this argument to be a strawman would be if your position was that the US would be going to war with China or a China-based proxy. This doesn't make any sense unless the yuan was, in fact, going to overtake the dollar peacefully. Which you kind of imply is not really probable. The US is already "king of the hill" so why would they be the aggressor making the first move in this scenario against China. China would have to attack us if, as you stated, a war was necessary to demolish the hegemony of the dollar.
What is the actual argument if this is the strawman?
