Yeah. Reds are supposed to be running right now. I only got a small catfish though with some shrimp. The current is pulling my bait all over the place but I'm using a spider sinker so idk what to do about it.

2oz. Feels too heavy for this pole anyway. Well it is, this pole is only rated for 1oz.

Yeah, sounds like you need to up the rod and sinker weight. Maybe 4-6 oz range? Unless the current is ripping, in which case, 8 oz.

I take it you have? I'm seriously debating get a .22 for squirrel season though. Idk. I'm spending too much money fishing, as therapudic as it is.
