He only got a leg shot or two so idk. Maybe just had no clue you can't just bolt on a scope and assume it works. Maybe he was intentionally missing. Brooks claimed he ran the bases at some point so yeah idk
Goes through all the trouble of buying a scope and mounting it on his AR, and doesn't even consult the internet as to how to go about it? Sounds like lost his nerve is more like it, got there, saw the people through the scope, saw the people, looked them in face, couldn't compartmentalize, maybe dropped Scalise and then thought the better of it, popped off a lot a rounds to draw the cops in, then went to the sidearm for the suicide by cop. All things considered, he didn't exactly make it hard on them, had them all dead to rights, yet found a way to let them off the hook over and over, a hundred times over apparently.

Suicidal, cleary, no apparent plan to escape, doesn't even attempt to evade the cops when they were drawn down on him, but not seeming that homicidal after all, considering the cards he was holding.

You say it "a hundred times over." Fact is 50 shots were recorded and a survivor said it was hat to tell who was who. I'm assuming twenty were from LEO and thirty from a standard mag.

Also, fun fact. The modular m4 or m16, whichever he used is easily modular and can be broke down and fit in a simple tennis court duffle bag.

Fair enough I suppose, but even then, scoped AR, ambush position, people in the open sitting ducks, and not even one kill? Not even one critical hit? Couldn't have been trying that hard, 30 rounds is still a lot of rounds, when shooting sitting ducks with a scoped AR. Scalise actually just had bad luck, the round hit him in the hip and then went cross pelvis, but I wouldn't call it a deliberate kill shot, aiming for the hips seems like shoot to wound. Somebody else got hit in the ankle? At that range, to miss that low, you'd have to be aiming way low, I can see rounds going high rapid fire, but rounds going low?

No I am not actually. This was pointed out on another forum and I was just trying to find the image but gave up. He said two pins as well on the lower I think. Fits very nice in a normal sports duffle.

I think he's just saying that if you pull the take down pins, any AR will fit in a duffel, as upper and lower reciever, two pins to break it down, two pins to put it back together, takes two seconds.

Mika was shot in the chest, according to his friend Dan Harder, legislative director for U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop, R-Rochester. Harder was also helping out at Wednesday’s practice.

Ah, one witness just said "the gate to the field was locked, he was trying to get in, but he couldn't", that could explain it, I was wondering why he wouldn't just walk around popping people with impunity point blank. So he was just a bad shot after all.

He's in the catbird seat, prone position with the scope, but starts popping off "double taps" according to the witnesses, lucky that, there but by the grace of spray n' pray nation go they.
