The word "probably" should be noted.

The Holocaust Denial comparison is a little strong as although denying it is almost like saying the Moon is made of cheese, the Solid South is more nebulous, much less concrete.

The attacks on the Solid South idea is linked to the efforts to deny the South's efforts, and to a lesser degree the nation's, to create, and maintain, an apartheid system. To deny the effectiveness of using racism as a means of winning elections by cultivating the white vote.

The Southern States' governments used the Democratic Party to do, and it is no accident, not a coincidence that that Party was a racist bastion, with few black members, while the Republican Party, although still very, very racist, was a bastion of the black voter. When the Democratic Party under LBJ finally cracked the apartheid system, albeit incompletely, and established itself as a supporter of civil rights, something the Republican Party failed to do, the diehard racist vote moved to the Republicans, while the black vote moved to the Democrats.

One thing followed the other, and it was not a coincidence.

Bullshit, followed by more bullshit, even more bullshit. Your narrative is fucking stupid and bear no evidence in election be it Federal or state. Republicans didnt fail in anything they passed the civil rights act without their votes ot never would have happened. The Democrats party supported Jim Crow and segregation, the GOP never had nor even entertained such a platform. Keep lying whatever keeps you sleeping at night.

Denying the evidence and creating hagiographies for both Parties is foolish. The Democratic Party was a racist stronghold, and the Republican Party wasn't. Then it switched. More accurately, the Democratic leadership saw a chance of getting the black vote, and the Republican leadership saw a chance of getting the fearful, and racist, vote.

Pragmatic power politics at play ethics or morality be damned.

It is no different with the black misleadership class sold out the general black population, especially the poor blacks (and MLK's dream) for a seat at the Democratic Party's table.

What evidence? You dont have any. The Solid south was never solid and you cant prove any big switch. You had thousands of seat in a myriad elections, be it House, Senate, State legislatures, Governors. If this magical switch must have happened there has to be overwhelming evidence yet you have nothing. Show me the moment, show me the drastic undeniable change. You cant because it didnt happen.

I hope nobody is saying it was done in a blink of an eye? I said myself two decades for a complete change. And that it was one hundred percent all one party? Even Super Blue State California is 1/3 Republican even though the last Republican presidential candidate (I think) it voted for was Reagan.

I posted multiple times election results that show continuous breaks between the parties in the southern states and numerous flips from one party to the other across elections.

You say nothing.

Post the actual publicly available election results that show that the south was a blue fire wall until it switched to solid red, or admit you're wrong.

Hint, you aren't going to find it, because it's a myth, as I've already shown you.

Just watched the documentary about this on Netflix. Was genuinely torn between abject horror and hysterical laughter at the millennial stupidity on display. Both guests and ‘organizers’.

Truly stunning.
