For the most part, this climate change hysteria is a power-grab by the left. It's similar to the war on terror in a way, but instead of taking civil liberties away, they want to take control of the economy. Then it kind of morphed into a globalist phenomenon where the globalists want to take away national sovereignty in the name of their cooked data.

I realize that certain non profits and activist types can make some money on global warming if it is a hoax, but in your opinion who else stands to benefit economically from banging the climate change drum? It's not about making money. Quite the opposite. Most of these people are marxists in some way. They live for the bureaucracy. They want state control of the economy. That's what this is about.

It's real, it's happening, whatever background cycle is going on is vastly overshadowed by the effect of our emissions, and it's going to lead to mass starvation, displacement, and war. But the good news is, there's nothing you can do about it, short of overthrowing the entire global system.

My opinon: it's too late anyway. Just enjoy your time, and teach the kids to grow food.

I don't really see how you can conclude that. We keep finding out that all the data is cooked. We find out that the climate change has "paused". We can all see how the universities have been overrun with party-minded ideologues that want to fight for the cause rather than seek the truth. We can see the media lying left and right on the daily.

At some point, a reasonable human being should become quite skeptical of this stuff. How many lies do you have to be manipulated by before you get skeptical?

That's one side of the bubble. There's another side with equally compelling arguments to show that you're being a fool. Doesn't matter either way.

The "controversy" has paralyzed any possible response, and protected the megacorps from any responsibility for what's happening. It's not going to change, so accept it.

How come only "Climate Scientists" & celebrities can understand Climate Science. What can't a guy with 3 doctorates? Why can't the informed people on this forum understand?
