I wonder if Trump can actually kill that network. By constantly exposing their lies and propaganda, he could potentially devastate what's left of their paltry views, which would deprive them of ad revenue in the long run.

If you think about it, the more they get exposed, the more everybody will know that is pure propaganda and lies. It will become embarrassing to admit you consume that content. If you say, "I saw on CNN last night..", people will look at you like you are a fucking retard.

So what's the deal over there. That's Ted Turner's network, right. Does he run it? Is he responsible for the sort of shit they put out, like an assassination guide?

I'm guessing most of these corporate media outlets were heavily invested in the Clinton Foundation Stocks and were due to reap the economic rewards once the inevitable one was in the oval office............. now their mad at the party crasher.

I think the best thing he can do is open up access to the POTUS and Press Sec briefings to small business media outlets. Put Matt Drudge and Gavin McInnes in the front row next to people like Helen Thomas, I don't think shes there anymore. You get the meaning.

Come on your from Atlanta I thought. Ted Turner hasn't been running CNN or much of anything in more than 15 years. When Time-Warner AOL bought all that shit they pushed him off to the side.

A little primer for the next few news cycles...the beautiful thing here is that Trump will win this battle quite handily using media studies to support his beliefs and the media will then have to debunk their own reports to attack Trump.

“In particular, I’d point to the 2014 Washington Post study that indicated more than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and in 2010 elections indicated they were registered to vote. … I’d also point out some of the other examples that we raised during the campaign. Some numbers include the Pew Research study that said that approximately 24 million, or one out of every eight, voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or significantly inaccurate. And in that same Pew Research study, the fact that 2.5 million people have registrations in more than one state. So all of these are studies and examples of where there have been issues of voter fraud and illegal immigrants voting.”

Hans von Spakovsky: Illegal voters sway elections

A poll by John McLaughlin confirms again we may have a significant problem with noncitizens participating illegally in our elections. Based on a sample survey of 800 Hispanics in 2013, McLaughlin found that of foreign-born respondents who were registered voters, 13 percent admitted they were not United States citizens.

There is no doubt the registration rate of noncitizens varies depending on the jurisdiction, and the percentage of those voting is probably smaller. But whether the registration rate is 13 percent as McLaughlin found or 25 percent as the Old Dominion/George Mason study estimated, there seems little doubt that there are enough noncitizens registering and voting to potentially make the difference in close elections.

Just doing some prep work for coming disputes which should be hot and heavy for a while in the media...

Do non-citizens vote in U.S. elections? Our blog post and article on non-citizen voting have reached a wide audience, and have motivated several efforts to dispute our methods and conclusions. Although the criticisms of our work speak to the inherent difficulty of studying individuals who face strong pressures to misrepresent their behaviors, we maintain that our data is the best currently available to answer the question and stand by our finding that some non-citizens have voted in recent elections.

This response articulates the reasons why (1) attempts to show that the measures we used are not valid or reliable have often actually supported our argument; (2) criticism of the CCES as a survey instrument is off target; and (3) it was appropriate for us to share our findings from the study.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer had no good answer for one important question Tuesday.

After several reporters tried (and largely failed) to nail Spicer down on the source for President Trump's bogus claim that between 3 million and 5 million people voted illegally in the 2016 election, NPR's Mara Liasson got to the root of the matter: If Trump truly believes there were so many illegal votes, she asked, why hasn't he called for investigations?

If that's even close to true, it's a massive, unprecedented electoral scandal that requires investigations to, if nothing else, prevent it from happening again. And that would seem to be something Trump, with his hard-line policy on illegal immigrants and pre-election warnings of large-scale voter fraud, should clearly support. The idea that Trump would truly believe this but not investigate it as one of his first priorities makes precisely zero sense.
