No American should cheer for violence against others for their beliefs. You'd be singing a much different story if the tables were turned.

First of all, you were just cheering for lamppost hangings last week my friend.

Second, I'm not stupid enough to go out and "protest" what anybody else is doing. That's not "speech", it's inciting a riot. Those people were not sought out and assaulted because off their beliefs. They walked up to a massive group of people, started some shit, and filmed it for attention. I fully support the beating of their asses.

First, I can't cheer for lamppost hangings when said hangings are not occurring. If they were, I would view that as a breakdown of law and order and step in to prevent it.

Second, walking around with signs and chanting slogans is exactly what a protest is. Protesters being attacked is illegal. Get the fuck outa here with that inciting a riot bullshit. Those people were not assaulted. You need to find a dictionary. Assaulted is being visited with physical force, which those people were not. Assaulted is what happened to those protesters who were definitely assaulted with physical force.

Yes, and is a valid form of resistance to the government or a corporation. If I stand on the sidewalk in front of a gay guys house and scream insults at him, he has every moral right to beat me silly if the cops won't.

The Westboro bullshit with "drowning them out", and stupid ass "counter-protests" was pathetic to watch. Grab a bat and fix them up. Do 30 days for assault, and the nation would thank you. Instead they were granted a national platform for their bile, and are now world-famous for it.

But seriously, if you want to set up the idea that Western and Eastern civilization are incompatible, you might as well support it with a theory on internet echo chambers.

Tread lightly on ground you've never traveled. Western and Eastern civilization are most definitely incompatible. So too are Western and Middle Eastern civilization. You'd be better prepared to argue that they aren't if the you'd ever known anything more than the west.

Neither China, nor Saudi Arabia are reforming their societies to be more like the West. We don't put children in factories, China does. We don't execute gays, Saudi Arabia does. We are most certainly incompatible. Stick to the books, kid.

Your right, I probably never traveled on these grounds. My mother is in the other room trying to teach my brother Chinese and hell, is it not working. I probably should ask her about her attitudes on child labor, too.

I guess I should clarify: the internet has made it so that it is hell of a lot easier to deepen the cultural divide.

The Berlin attack suspect shot in Milan.

The suspect in Berlin Christmas market attack was shot dead near Milan, according to Italian officials, bringing an end to an international manhunt for the 24-year old Tunisian that had kept the continent on edge as the holidays fast approached.

Anis Amri was killed, Italian Interior Minister Marco Minniti said, after a dramatic 3:30 a.m. encounter at a routine checkpoint in the Piazza I Maggio in the Sesto San Giovanni area of greater Milan. When encountered by police, Amri pulled a gun and shot one officer, before being shot dead. His identity was confirmed via a fingerprint match.

The Italian police did their share, good job!



More attacks seem to have been attempted...

The news comes as German police said they had thwarted a new terror attack planned against a shopping mall and arrested two brothers from Kosovo, as Germany and Europe are on high alert for the holidays.

Authorities detained the brothers, aged 28 and 31, after receiving an intelligence tip-off, according to North Rhine Westphalia police. Security at the Centro Mall in the western German city of Oberhausen has been beefed up.

You can cover your eyes, plug your ears, scream "la la la la la!", and label everybody who mentions these inconvenient facts to you a racist or whatever else, but it doesn't help your case. I can post plenty of videos of what these places look like, complete with violence and decidedly non-British culture establishing a foothold in Britain.

That is exactly what I've been reading for pages. Video after video of mobs of Muslims in western cities attacking non-muslims, and they deny what is on the tape. Hell, Monty even said he wasn't going to bother watching the last one, but he still assures us it is false. Those must have been actors, I guess. Big ol' staged production.

Real classy to see them defend a mob attacking demonstrators in the US.

I did watch that video in the end, it was a bunch of EDL guys blocking the entrance to a Mosque and the counter protest because of it. If you now think it is ok to prevent people from going to prayer you are as big a hypocrite as StA. It's just this sort of behaviour that helps to radicalise Muslims. Note the guys all had English accents, they weren't refugees they were born here and a bunch of thugs were preventing them from practising their religion. Is that a violation of the 1st amendment? Or is it different for Muslims?
