Jeff Bezos would have to work approximately 100,000,000x harder than me, to justify his income. That metric falls on it's face under the most fleeting scrutiny.
No, he would have to be 100,000,000x more productive than you, which he easily accomplished with Amazon.com alone. That’s not even taking into account AWS, the Washington Post, Twitch, etc, etc.

He has done so much more, produced so much more, than the last ten generations of your family combined - in a single half-lifetime no less, and you’re over here living in first world comfort while bitching that he has more than you. Playing a damn victim because he has more than you.

Juvenile.
I see. So Bezos is personally responsible for all of the productivity, profit, services, and wealth of Amazon in perpetuity. He's outproducing 30,000 of his workers, simply by being the CEO.

And when he hands the CEO slot to someone else, they will in turn be responsible for all of Amazon's value until the end of their term.

Therefore, they should take the maximum allowable profits unto themselves, and ignore all of the other employees of that company. For example, Tim Cook is now providing a total value to the world equal to Steve Jobs, and all of Apple Inc., and should be paid accordingly.

Furthermore, each executive and board member is out-producing thousands of lower-tier workers, with the valuable work that they perform each and every day.

Pretty amazing logic there.

Derp derp derp ... I see ... derp ... so the creator of Amazon is responsible for the productivity and profit of the company he created ... DERP.

Fucking A.

SF is a complaining sonofabitch who ain’t worth a food stamp.
But phenomenally productive and useful people got more than he did - so OPPRESSION.

You dumb shit, those guys out-produce 30,000 regular people, by... doing stuff!
They're 30,000x busier and better and smarter than anyone working for them!
Fucking Communist!

The dogma of risk reaping reward, and productivity being a basis for compensation.

Aka - not Marxism paired with perpetual victimhood driven by folks with inferiority complexes.

“They have more, mommy, it’s not FAAAAAAAAIR!!!”
“They do more, honey. You just complain”

Here’s a new internet law I’ve come up with, based on what we can see around us every day:

People’s time spent complaining about successful rich people is inversely proportional to their time spent trying to become successful rich people.

My productivity is orders of magnitude greater than an American factory worker. But I'm not compensated accordingly.
How the fuck do you figure? You work for a government agency do you not? You and they produce nothing. Fuck off with that bullshit.
The value provided to my employer from a mere hour of database/information/programming work is exponentially higher than anything that a factory worker could produce in one hour.

Or, if you prefer, the value of one hour of modern information work vs. one hour of that work performed in 1970. 1980. even 1990. Exponentially higher, but same or less compensation, adjusted for inflation.

Very simple equation.
To what end? What you do for me or the average person? You produce makework for taxpayer money, a yearly bailout is your entire budget and salary. No one voluntarily gives your company a dime. You create nothing of value. Face it. Deal with it.

What risk are you taking? How can you be a judge of risk when you are an admitted coward, and former pacifist?
