Agree 100%. It was quite clear during the primaries that she wasn't wanted, but the DNC didn't care. She was the anointed one. She ran a horrible campaign, filled with wide open corruption AND had way way too much baggage.

I don't see Trump as the winner, here. He was very clearly the lessor of two evils.

I tried to start out hopeful, but his very first day he focused on a lie... his penis...err crowd size. He hasn't stopped.

If lying is his strategy, than it's the shittiest strategy ever. There's a dramatic difference between shaking things up and just randomly making up facts to keep everyone occupied while Bannon plans the final destruction of the country. A cabinet filled with bankers & other billionaires? That's swamp draining? He lied to you. He said Mexico would pay for the wall, he promised he had a great health care plan, he told you he was going to drain the swamp..... he lied to you then, he keeps lying now and you all think it's good that he's lying. Stunning, really.

I never said he really cared about you, I said he cared about himself and in caring for himself he'll do you more solids than any establishment politician is likely to do for you. Trump's interest coincide with the people's interests more than establishments of either political party does with the people, and that's at least a minor upgrade.

Don't put words in my mouth and pretend I thought Donald Trump only had the interests of the American people in his heart and nothing else, get fucking real. Trump is out for himself, his legacy and his family and I certainly never claimed otherwise.

Adjusting to a buffoon as president is challenging, to be sure. What's more problematic is those who don't think his lying is a character flaw. He's lying to foreign leaders, FFS. He's calling our friends names, on the phone.

Like it or not Kath, Trump is out smarting and out working opponents. And he's getting victories because of the stupid, rabid hatred for Trump.

He is, no doubt, playing Maddow and her kind. It's actually fun to watch. (Like I said, he has good points.) So, there's that.

As to healthcare - his realization that it's complicated was pretty telling. Who knew? Lulz. Everyone but him, apparently. Now he's figuring out why Obamacare passed. It's what the INSURANCE COMPANIES wanted, not what Obama wanted.
