Lincoln a narcissist? That's crazy talk, bro. He was the polar opposite, the greatest altruist in the history of the republic. This is why he is the patron saint of America, but he had no idea it would turn out that way. He didn't try to make himself into that, quite the opposite, that came about retrospectively, long after his death.

Why will it be gone tomorrow? I'm not clear on the point you are making... All the article points out is that no matter how you slice & dice the facts & data, Trump had lower attendance than Obama.

For the millionth time, Kath, the argument is not, and never has been that Trump's turnout was greater than Obama's.

What's been happening around here is we are trying to point out that alternative facts are not an actual thing and people keep timing in about how Trump actually did have more numbers than Obama. This is demonstrable efal sing you all admit it but still keep thinking it's okay for the White House Press Secretary to lie about something so obviously demonstrably false.

Not a single forum member has timed in with "Trump had bigger numbers than Obama", not even once. You lie.

Talking about how awesome and popular you are is critical to doing any political job, that's what politics is all about, which politcians spend their time asserting how much they suck and how unpopular they are; none that I know of.

Democracy is a popularity contest, popularity is the arm of decision therein.
