Dude retreated from the intitial conflict,
I'm gonna cut the man slack due to who he was shooting at.

If he chucked them commies out of a helicopter, I would still look the other way.

was he ok?
Don't know, we got the heck out of there without looking back, when the fire trucks went by on the way past us, we just played it cool and walked calmly away.
Sometimes a clean getaway is all you can hope for...
Yup, played with spray cans and lighters when I was a kid too. Then my friend Patrick burned down like an acre of wood/grassland - I wasn't with him thankfully, but it opened a heap of trouble for him. I figured it was better to just play with gunpowder and explode things instead after that. :D

AquaNet was the preferred flame thrower of the 80's in my neck of the woods.
My best friend's mom was a clown, professionally, and he swiped some of her flash-paper too (the kind magicians use for that quick burst of blinding fire).

Good times.
Lived in New Mexico though, so we didn't burn down anything.

Not a bad place for playing with fire.

Was a time when America was prepared to fight a thermonuclear war to prevent communists from pulling down a statue of Marse Robert in public square.

Now she won't even look the other way when the Klan takes a warning shot at them.

What's up with dat, General Pinochet?

We sent his ass to jail, didn't we?
Or as you would say, we GULAGED him.
Fitting end, right?

Jail . . . when your offense warrants more than a slap on the wrist, and less than death.

So you want to throw him in jail for being a poor shot?
Indeed. Since when in America do you have to shoot like a Delta Operator in order to use your gun?
He is trying to rationalize the fact that he casts guilt based on the man's identity rather than any actual crime. If it were some poor, female who drew down on some maniac threatening to set people on fire, his opinion would be different.

StA can't defend the man he's trying to lionize, so instead he demonizes me with his fantasies over who or what I would do/say in imaginary situation X.
Good to see he's not letting his imagination go to waste in his old, old, lonely, age.

Clown show is fully underway, time for my exit.
Hey, one day, if you guys really put your heart and minds to it, maybe you can live up to those laudable Richard Wilson Preston standards.
Never give up on your dreams.
Until then, enjoy your tiny car and squirting corsages.
