Indeed.
In a world where we're forced to pick a side between a black dude assaulting people with flaming aerosol, and a KKK guy walking back through a crowd so he can open fire on the black guy with a side arm, I'm sure these argument makes sense.
The same world where having jails or prisons is synonymous with gulags I suppose.

I'll never know though, because I live in this world, not the fantasy realm where we must be team Antifa or Team KKK.

And everywhere that bullet traveled in that crowded space after he missed was directed by the hand of fate.

What does his belonging to the KKK have to do with anything?

If a cop did you wouldn't bat an eye, but cops operate under the same self-defense statutes as everybody else.

A cop wouldn't casually walk back to the area of conflict to fire off a poorly aimed shot and then scuttle away like a gray-bearded crab hoping no one noticed.

Seems facile. I think you are supporting convicting people based on who they are rather than whether what they did was truly a crime. You're obviously not alone.

An aersol can with a 2' flame is dangerous, but not praticularly lethal.
Firing bullets around wily-nilly is considerably more dangerous, and potentially quite lethal.

You want to pull a hero out of a situation where there were no heroes.
