Of course the media spin on this is going to be that Trump is blackmailing Congress and America by saying he won't work with Congress until they drop the investigations. They'll say he's doing this because he is guilty. And they will spend hundreds of hours saying it.

He could put infrastructure before his ego and save all kinds of hassles.

Considering the time, energy and money the government spent to prove Trump innocent of wild conspiracies, he's looking pretty damn good.

Kind of, he's spent like 48 hours when he wasn't under investigation by the DOJ/FBI and now Congress. Pretty hard to get stuff done. But he has 2 big accomplishments none the less.
1) Rolling back worthless regulations, thus sparking a lackluster economy.
2) Getting Federal Judges appointed.

Then there are little bonus' like not getting us into another war. By this time in their presidencies all presidents back to GWH Bush had gotten us in a new military conflict.

Based on Google news this morning the memo given out to the MSM was to label this a "tantrum". Funny how they never used that word on Democrats for things like crying about the 2016 election for years, crying about the results of the Mueller investigation, crying about x,y,z.

I don't take anything the MSM "report" seriously anymore. Now I just read the headlines and either roll my eyes or laugh.

They had the folks inside the beltway convinced that Trump was going down for his entire first year in office, so he was flying solo. He was under FBI spying until August of 2017. I commented in the Fall of 2017 that something happened over the midterm break and Trump was on fire starting to get things done suddenly. Well, as it turns out Trump was still under a FISA warrant, so all those leaks and Never Trumpers being able to counter Trump suddenly came to a stop because they lost their electronic surveillance on him.

I think most of our recent presidents would have folded if they were under the type of pressure and attacks Trump has had to deal with. But I'm fairly happy with what he's done. I don't think he's done any long term damage to the country.

I don't know if they have the balls to do it. Even Adam Schiff has said that the last thing they want is a failed impeachment. He's smart enough to know that they don't need another Mueller investigation that states the POTUS is innocent in the end.

Meanwhile Trump is a master at fucking with douche bags. I loved him walking out on Pelosi and Schummer, for a couple reasons.

One, previous presidents would not have done it, even guys that ran. Not Jeb, Mittens, McCain, W, Dole, none of them. It's playing hard ball, and that's why these guys that fail all the time. Second is it derails their stupid plans to fuck with Trump, and puts Pelosi and Schummer in the spotlight. They don't do well in the spotlight, especially unprepared like this.

Almost assuring the fact that Trump will rise ascendant.

As for Trumps actual track record... he's pretty good and causing the DNC to self destruct... so he's got that on the plus side.
