Re: The Good News Thread
I was a barracks room lawyer and an Orangeman soccer hooligan, but otherwise I am nothing if not law abiding
Honor is my finest quality
Mrs Smitty said it wasn't love at first sight for her even tho she was twitterpated right off her feet
She just says that she trusted me from the first moment,
I was a rogue, but I was down for her and somehow she knew
I didn't call her right away, I let her stew for awhile, she said that was key
Once I had let the sexual tension build she was pining hard for me
Then after the first date she knew I was the one

Damn. I didn't realize that's what that phrase meant. Isn't it from the Book of Revelation?
Capps, you live in Hamilton right? How badly locked down is your city? Here in Central Florida, we have a curfew plus stay at home order, but because we have enough red blooded American patriots, people of all ages are doing their civic duty and defying the gov't. Are you guys in the Great White North obeying the order?

How is Willaim of Orange (the dutch dude) viewed by the average person in the UK and its former colonies? Is he viewed as a legitt monarch or a usurper?Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 2:06 pmNo, the Roman Catholic Churchheydaralon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 2:03 pm

Yeah, I live in Hamilton. Everything is closed except essential businesses, but a lot of things are considered essential apparently. I mean technically they want us to stay at home, but there are tons of excuses people can give for not doing so.heydaralon wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 2:22 pmCapps, you live in Hamilton right? In Florida at least, liquor stores are "essential." I'm glad they are still open (I've made a few emergency runs), but its kind of hilarious. Grocery stores and various small business are open. Fast food is drive thru only. Gyms are closed. Its like a sign from God. Engage only in vices, not self betterment

Jobs are actually just a product of the industrial revolution,
it is not the nature of man to work himself to death at the coal face
A crazy Frenchman said it was so 400 years ago, but he was a kook

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
