Actually, my first thought was on the evolution of culture from the division of labor c. 10,000BC to Marxism c.1848AD, and how each cultural advance was neither race dependent, nor did new races appear to assume the role of upstream cultural "source".

There aren't too many race specific variants in the human genome, and they have been mapped pretty well. There are almost endless cultures.

So it seems the onus falls on those who want to connect a particular race-specific variant reliably to a particular cultural artifact. Until then, the null hypothesis stands.

What we have now is statistical observations of demographic groups. That, at best shows a correlation, but that data doesn't prove the genes are the cause of the differences.

And, as DB pointed out, cultures have evolved, disappeared, and come into being without a concomitant new race having emerged upstream.

You guys obviously are unfamiliar with defending your claims. Nuke claimed culture is downstream from race. You both have backpedalled so far from there that you're now claiming "Well, races have lots of cultures but only one race came up with a cultural innovation first!" - which is stupid. Not just stupid because it's tantamount to saying that cultural developments have origins (duh, of course they do), but stupid because it's also wrong, as demonstrated by the zero (or beer) which has more than a single origin among separate races.

So what we actually have is an unsupported claim from Nuke, which has been erroneously dialed back to a kindergartners statement about things starting somewhere.

White folks in Russia seem to have missed that stream. As have the white Scandanavians and at various times the Poles, Germans, French, etc, etc.
When your skin color puts you downstream from the same source you shouldn't have representative democracies, Stalinism, Fascism, capitalism, communism, and socialism, all showing up.

Plus, as you're loathe to admit, 47% of America isn't white - so claiming that almost half the population has no claim to the culture is kinda . .. well ... you know.
