speaking of that, there could be some contagion coming from the Chinese real estate bubble imminently
the chickens finally coming home to roost potentially

obvious paper dragon is obvious
no, it's not going to be a massive implosion, it's just going to be a spot correction

none the less, contagion is likely, so you want to short that wave down, then ride it back up

you can short anything, you could short the index itself

you don't have to short, you could just sell high then buy low

but shorting can enhance your profits by leveraging the ride down before you buy

don't have any stock to sell high on

if I was going to short, what would be some of the better shorting options?

I don't give specific investment advice

that's irresponsible

don't do anything until you a) have seed money to play with, then b) have done your own research

Use your MMA betting money.
It's just another form of degenerate gambling. ;)
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

in broad strokes, if you are not sitting on excess funds which you need to park somewhere

don't bother with the stock market at all

just keep saving for the downpayment on a fully detached home in an undervalued market

only after you have acquired that asset first, do you need to worry about anything else

hard asset fully detached home where you could live for the rest of your days, is mission one

haven't done the research

don't do anything it is

I'll stick to MMA gambling for now

I've done that research

and it's a proven cash cow for me

whatever you make on gambling, role that into the downpayment on a fully detached home

a savings account which you could live in for the rest of your days, is the first step on the ladder

if you have excess funds which you need to park somewhere, only then do you look at the equity markets

the first equity to acquire is the home, without that, you're a hobo forever
