I’m more interested in why this was covered up (clumsily). I’m sure there’s a whole book of procedures to handle this.

- the assistant secdef is incompetent?
- the SECDEF office is incompetent?
- nobody’s cared what SECDEF does for a while, and they’re doing a weekend at Bernie’s job to cover that up?
I believe there is a real competency crisis amongst the ruling class. It's been a month since Austin went into the hospital by what we've been told, and they've changed there story multiple times. It's crazy.

A whole French unit got annihilated in Karkriv. Someone leaked their location and the Russians hit them. Sounds like the French were running Artillery, Intel and Air Defense equipment for the Ukrainians. French are very pissed. It's the first real sign of NATO units actually operating in Ukraine.
