I think I have mom talked into going to a nearby shelter tomorrow. Here's hoping that fear holds strong by tomorrow, and gets her motivated to go. I don't know how there's a shelter 3-6' above sea level, but whatever. It's better than her place, 2 blocks from the Caloosahatchee.

Irma hitting Houston would probably be the best thing for everyone honestly. The flooding has mostly subsided so they could handle another minor storm no problem. The haven't gotten too far along on the rebuilding from Harvey either so this would be perfect as there is little left there to destroy. The general rule of the Gulf is that Florida takes precedence over the other states, and Houston's refinery destruction would encourage Americans to think Green and stop using fossil fuels. There are so many benefits and so little drawbacks for a hurricane double tap in Texas.

She's going to my brothers house across town. He has a 2-story townhouse away from the river. Should be fine.

My macros are already pretty good. Fat is less than 15% and protein is up to 40. Don't really need an island to help with that, even for my cheat days.

You should def increase the good saturated fats, then. Cut back on those carbs a little.
