The theater life is polishing the brass on the RMS Titanic right about now, no?Smitty-48 wrote:Looking at the saturation of theaters, with a drop off from $70,000 per theater to $40,000 per theater, week one into week two, Star Wars is actually competing against itself right now, they've got it in a lot of theaters, but none of those theaters are close to being full, it's certainly nowhere near maximum capacity, and it's actually fading rather quickly.

Well I'm comparing it to Force Awakens, so that wasn't a different market paradigm two years ago or whatever, but by this time, Force Awakens had made $650 million, whereas Last Jedi has only made $460 million, so Force Awakens was doing much better in week two.
Their openings were almost identical, $247 million to $220 million, but there has a been a big drop off for Last Jedi after the opening.

Hmmm....
Can we agree in advance on a neutral to resolve our disputes over the agreed-upon rules?
Do we have the human agency to agree upon anything at all?
Gib it a think, stateberg.
Okay... ... There. I thought about it and concluded that argument is about as firm as Tom Brady's balls.

Just a bit off on tax plan, and shocked that Yellen is gone.
