Jesus, spent the last couple days trying to make pita bread. Only had two and a half out of 16 attempts puff up and pocket like pita should. Tried the oven with a pizza stone and cast iron on the range. Varying temperatures and conditions but mostly just nein bread. :D :D Any hints?

I’m no bread maker, but I do know that most of the rising happens before you put it in the oven. Make sure you let it proof on the countertop for long enough.

I had 3 rises and it still won't puff up. Hurumph. I'm the baker in the house, btw.

Bake them in a dry frying pan. Turn often.

I get to butcher a pig tomorrow! The pigs have been enjoying mango season up in the hills but my source has been baiting his pasture land for a week now because one of his friends wants to shoot one for some reason. He said that all the meat is mine. *shrug Ok.

I've been watching this video a few times now. "Between the 4th and 5th ribs" Got it :D
