There's a separate callsign for the Exoships, because they are AI

Eagle Claw is the Operator, Marse Robert is the AI

Rogue Warrior is the Operator, Mekong Delta is the AI

When the Operator is onboard, he has control.

He can however dismount and spacewalk, the AI is autonomous then, loyal wingman.

I'm pretty much ready to write.

I've got multiple short stories worth already.

For some reason sketching it out in a thread really gets the juices flowing.

What's your opening paragraph?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I work like a script writer, first I plot the conflict, then I sketch the arc, Act I, Act II, Act III

Then I do the treatment.

I'm also illustrating at the same time to sketch the concept art.

And I'm picking out a soundtrack from Youtube.

I'm all about the cinematic.

Floyd is very popular on Venus.

Now, to be clear, since I'm drawing now, an Apollo doesn't look like a Japanese anime robot

All the American tech is NASA style. The Exoships aren't blocky nor chunky, it's got curves.

It's inspired by the Space Shuttle, that color scheme, the white with black heat shield trim.

It's like a humanoid Space Shuttle.

Like I say, the Apollo melee weapon is not a sword,

Indian Axe Club. Carbon Black. It's called a Mohican.

Obviously the NIhon Bushido will have a Katana.

The British Ajax Exoship carries an entry tool, Hooligan Bar.

The American tactic is to use blunt force trauma.

The Japanese is hack & slash

The British tactic is organized vandalism, crow barring.

In terms of Exoship close combat tactical, they don't bother with directed energy beam weapons.

It's just big railgun rifles; solid DU AP ammo, then follow up with melee weapon hand to hand.

You'll get two in your Exoship chest one in your Exoship head, then chopped with a Mohican, before a laser could have much effect.

It's fast and furious, dogfights and brawls.

Magnesium burns in space, so tracer fire looks the same, it's just like anti aircraft gunfire

Obviously there's no sound in space, but you can hear your own gun firing through the hull of your ship.

And you hear when you get hit that way as well.
