Anybody out there heard any of The Dusty Den yet?

Or, more to the point, have you all read Santiago yet?

I only heard of it from Prof CJ of Dangerous History.................. I have not read Santiago, but it sounded pretty damn good from the review they did............. I bet Doc Strangelove has read the entire series.

I found DH and Dusty Den independently, and so I was pleasantly surprised to hear them do crossover shows about Santiago and Resnick.

I have my doubts about sta being a Santiago or Resnick guy, though. Serious doubts.

1. American History Tellers
2. Business WARS
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

The Greatest Generation - Ben Harrison and Adam Pranica

Definitely not for everybody. It's two Star Trek nerds being super nerdy. They discuss TNG, one episode per podcast. I wasn't crazy about this podcast at first, but I've learned to appreciate their spin on this series. They don't focus on the plot as much as they dissect each episode. (As in, does what just happened work within the canon/Star Trek universe.)

Character consistency, continuity flaws, etc.

They are super nerdy. They love to give clever names to things. The away team is always called the dust buster club, for example.

The opening 5~ish minutes is usually pretty boring. They have a shitload of TNG trading cards and sometimes they open them. Not really a great audio type of event.

Anyway, very nerdy. I love nerds, which should be obvious.

I'm almost through the whole series. I noticed that they finished it up and are now working on DS9. I never finished DS9, so I'm going to be following along - good time as any to get DS9 done.
Account abandoned.

Another visually interesting video from Numberphile on higher dimensions today:
