Why do you think that? Do you think that Canada is somehow impervious to the vagaries of angry American populism? Sometimes, the troops, simply need to learn the hard way. Will it be the Somme all over again? I doubt that, but sometimes one needs to go all the way to the Somme, to take the lesson learned.
