How does one miss centre of mass with an AR at 30 meters? Should be able to land at least one round to the torso, even if you've never fired one before. Hang on a tick, do you Americans know what zeroing is, or do you just go straight from the gun shop to the mass shooting without even stopping at the range?

Must be in my blood. Hell, my family name is Marshall, how much more military can you get?
Marshall; from the Frankish, meaning "horse servant", to wit "stable boy". I suppose we could chalk it up as cavalry related, carry on.

Just another example of why the 12 gauge shotgun is a better mass shooter weapon at close range, leave it to the Yanks to pop off a hundred rounds point blank and still hit bupkis, spray and pray nation best switch to 00 buck.

No clue.
The Basic US Army Pistol Course has targets out to 31 meters, and if you don't fire Expert (26/30)on that course, you just as well not wear a pistol qual badge.

+1 on the shotgun.
I always tell people, pick firearm you are comfortable with, then practice, practice, practice and attempt to master it. Shots on target matter a lot more than having a lot of rounds.

Hey Smitty, we don't consider these Lefties Yanks, they're Torries, just haven't crossed the border yet.
