I know a guy who owns the Tesla, and the thing is constantly in the shop, it's had one problem after another, like ridiculous, he barely even drives it because it's constantly broken down, but he's got some sort of religious devotion to it, swears that it's a "great car" even when its an obvious lemon.

When he first got it, be brought it out to show it off, and we were expecting it to be a monster off the hop, but it wasn't actually, didn't see no "3.2 second acceleration" that's fo sho, actually seemed to have a lag to it, wasn't nearly as quick of the start as we were expecting, he just couldn't get it to go, eventually we just said "must be operator error", and then he stormed off in a huff.

Five times in a row he went up against my buddy's Corvette and the Corvette left him in the dust every time, and that was about it for the Tesla, never brought it out to play again.
