Then ya don’t read. Okeefenokee made the case that CNN was intervening with the Paul Manafort trial. He said that I didn’t read it. Well I just quoted from the same source document which btw there were 6 other media entities besides CNN filing said motion. I also citied in his “evidence” the media’s 1st amendment right (ya know freedom of the press, even the sources you hate) and demonstrated that they had legal standing to file said motion. Even you as a citizen could of filed for this as well. And it’s up to the judge to make a decision on all the motions stated by the Media Coalition (once again not just CNN).

So it’s apparent that you have already lopped off one of the most awesome aspects of the 1st amendment. Ask Benjamin Franklin how much he loved the press back in his day.

We dont have a right to secret jury like in the UK though doxing them would lead easily to a mistrial. This is not the first time this has happened, or as jewdiciaries, like to say, there is a precedence for this. The judge was threatened as well, according to the judge, who is being protected by US Marshals. Basically, CNN, buzzfeed, wapo and co are acting like mobsters right now and it doesn't cause so much as a ruffled feather for some people. Amazing.

Its an intersting question, but the right of the criminally accused to a legit trial by jury is paramount.

Interviewing and/or doxxing jurors can wait til the verdict is in. (Reason number 2,579 why registering to vote is dumb.)

Otherwise, does the prosecutor have an absolute 1st amendment right to put evidence excluded in the morning by the trial judge under the rules broadcast on CNN and piped into jurors hotel rooms overnight during the trisl?
