To be clear, I don't think you should lose any sleep over it, whatever will be will be, I just like to work the problem as an intellectual exercise, to counterforce or not to counterforce, if counterforce then what? If not counterforce then what?
For a nuclear war junky, this is the most interesting scenario of them all, asymmetrical unstable paradigm, reckless headlong collision course, so frankly, it's exciting, haven't been here since the early sixties, I'm fascinated to find out what happens when the fur starts to fly in this day and age.
Every other nuclear fault line is a symmetrical stalemate, but this puppy here is not, and a reckless line stepping basket case regime like North Korea, has never had strategic nuclear weapons before, this has the potential to be a real doozy, so buckle up, this could be a wild ride.
