Dach will step in and play center.
I'm watching him right now.
He's actually pretty amazing.
Big guy, but moves like a small shifty guy, he's lightning quick for a kid his size.
I would take him over Hischier for sure.

Jack Hughes is a phenom. Jack Hughes is generational.
Hischier, not so much.
Dach is closer to Auston Matthews than Hischier is.
Dach is the size of Matthews, but so much meaner.

Like I say, Hughes is not a natural center.
He's too small to be a dominant center in the NHL.
I think Hughes will mostly play the wing.
Dach is a natural center in the NHL.
Dach is built to play center, he's got it all in terms of heavy play down low.

Dach reminds me of Keith Primeau.
He's not gonna score fifty goals.
But in the grind of the playoffs, chip it in, chip it out, crash the net.
Dach is built for that, and he's got the right attitude.

A Keith Primeau type is a great fit on the Avs, great 2C compliment to MacKinnon. Still real nice to have a top four pick, even if it could have been higher.Smitty-48 wrote: Tue Apr 09, 2019 6:48 pm Dach reminds me of Keith Primeau.

He's got the frame. He's got skill, with size, and size matters.StCapps wrote: Tue Apr 09, 2019 6:51 pmA Keith Primeau type is a great fit on the Avs, great 2C compliment to MacKinnon. Doesn't look like his skating is an issue either, even with the size, which is nice.

Re: MHF - Hockey Thread
The Avs already got Makar, Girard and Timmins.
So I don't see them taking Byram.
The priority is a 2C to roll out after MacKinnon with Jost.
Dach fits the bill, in every respect.

Fucking Timmins hurt all year with a concussion, gives me flashbacks to Joey Hishon. Starting to worry he might never be the same.
