And Dom Moore could actually be more effective if you slid him over to the wing, his lost step wouldn't be so noticeable if he wasn't having to carry the load at center. Plus Glendening and Moore on the same line gives you left and right handed faceoff in the critical draws, Moore, Glendending, Komarov/Kapanen in your bottom four, that's been my objective end state for weeks now.

See I know how Babs thinks, I know what Babs is after, he wants that Vegas style roll four lines out the door, wear them down with heavy shifts model, I know he's been coveting his guy Luke, Rick Nash or whoever, Babs is not looking for that.

This is why Vegas is a legit contender, because the style they play, is custom made to go deep in the playoffs, they don't have flashy players, but they have four lines they can roll out the door, one heavy shift after the next, relentlessly, and that in the end, is what wins the Cup, when you get into the final phases.

I mean, when you get to the Finals, there's no dipsy doodling going on then, it's just chip it in chip it out, bumping and grinding until you catch a bounce and bang one in, wash rinse repeat, last man standing hoists the Cup.

This is what Babs knows, and why no matter how much flash and dash the kids show in the regular season, he's not impressed, because that's not gonna win the Cup for them.

Our winter is over. We're back in short sleeves.

Must be nice, mind you, down where you are, it's a little much heat wise, once the summer comes, I like 80, but 100+ starts to wear you down like winter after awhile.

Like I always say, it's not actually winter I don't like, I like winter, it's spring that I don't like, because here spring is really just sprinter. I like a dry cold, but I don't like slush.

That's how it is for the infantry here, summer is dry, autumn is dry, winter is dry, and dry is good, sprinter is a wet and soggy shithole.

Dry is warm, wet is cold, the coldest you get here, is not in winter.

We had more hypothermia cases in Scotland than we ever had in the arctic, never had one troop go down from the cold in the arctic, but soaked to the bone on top of them Scottish munro's, troops were going down left and right.

I am losing my cold adaptation. I used to like the winter. This winter was shit for me. I am starting to think the reason winter was easy for me was that my body was always inflamed. Now that I got a lot of that under control, I don't like the cold much at all.
