The media is still following Trump's tweets. I wonder how long that will continue.

If it happens, likely it is that Trump does a wrong move even by his standards. Likely Trump won't stop being himself, hence there is no need for the opposition just to focus on this as the GOP had to do with Benghazi-thing, which then turned into the email thing.clubgop wrote: They wish they knew how to quit him. The watershed moment was Trump firing Flynn. Then the appeasement policy stopped and now it is back to normal US-Russia relations. The excitement on the Russian side has cooled down also. The bromance is over.
How I think things are going to go in the Trump administration is that the circus will evolve around the President, the actual foreign policy (which naturally as a foreigner interests me) is going to be somewhat more difficult to notice. Already the real problematic things are starting to creep up: US forces in Syria, the North Korea problem, etc.
And anyway, for Mattis, McMaster and Kelly are the canaries in the coal-mine. If they start leaving, then I would get worried, otherwise it will likely be like the US goes along (somehow) with the tweeting President who creates a circus around him.

http://100percentfedup.com/breaking-ref ... ump-video/The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to find out why the terror suspect’s pending arrest was allegedly spiked just over a week before the election. Trump had run on a tough-on-terror platform and had been critical of President Obama’s refugee policy.
“When [Joint Terrorism Task Force] and the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Western District of Texas sought to prosecute this refugee, the local law enforcement and prosecutors allegedly ‘met resistance’ from officials within the National Security Division’s Counter Terrorism section in Washington DC,” Committee chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said in a March 6 letter to U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Good Stuff on this story.
BLUF - several investigations/spying ops were underway on Trump, absolutely no incriminating evidence was found

Umm... I think we know that the FBI is doing investigations. Even if they don't comment on ongoing investigations (perhaps with the exception of investigations on Hillary Clinton).
See hereThe FBI is leading at least three separate investigations into allegations of Russian interference in the election and possible Russia-Trump connections, Reuters reported last month, citing unnamed current and former government officials:
* The FBI's Pittsburgh field office, which is in charge of cybersecurity investigations, is seeking to identify the people who breached the Democratic National Committee's computer systems last year.
* The bureau's San Francisco office is trying to identify the people suspected of being behind the "Guccifer 2" online handle, which posted stolen emails of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta.
FBI counter-intelligence agents in Washington are looking into leads from informants and foreign communication intercepts.
In what may have been a fourth FBI inquiry related to Russia and Trump, the bureau investigated a series of conversations that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had with Kislyak but did not disclose to Vice President Mike Pence, leading to Flynn's resignation on Feb. 14.
And then there are the investigations underway By the Congress, btw. Yet it is different from that Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump tower. But who cares? Mush it just all together, confuse it and change subject etc.
And believe Trump's tweets.
Even those outrageous ones he picks from somewhere and throws out there to change the present topic around in the media for a little while. If they are later exposed to be false, who cares.

So the Congress now is doing what Trump asked and wants for today answers about the possible wiretaps.
McCain wanting answers on this:
And then, alternative-facts Kellyanne being herself, taken up the issue and then not taking up the issue:
McCain wanting answers on this:
See herePresident Trump has to provide the American people, not just the intelligence community, but the American people with evidence that his predecessor, former President of the United States, was guilty of breaking the law, because our director of national intelligence, Gen. Clapper, testified that there is absolutely no truth to that allegation." He continued: “The president has one of two choices: Either retract or to provide the information the American people deserve, because if his predecessor violated the law, President Obama violated the law, we’ve got a serious issue here, to say the least.”
And then, alternative-facts Kellyanne being herself, taken up the issue and then not taking up the issue:
See hereConway told the Bergen County Record, "You can surveil someone through their phones, certainly through their television sets — any number of ways." Conway told ABC's "Good Morning America" Monday that "of course I have no evidence for this," saying that's why there's a need for an investigation. "I wasn't making a suggestion about Trump Tower," she told the network. She said she was answering a question about surveillance "generally," and without specific reference to the current controversy.
