Actually I think the Spanish are right up to a point. The reason for naming a dish is so that a customer knows what they are getting. If you want to add chorizo to a rice dish that's fine but if you call it Paella that is misleading. For example a dish using minced lamb covered in potato and baked is a shepherds pie, if you make the same dish using minced beef it is a cottage pie. I see cottage pie called shepherds pie fairly regularly and I never fail to correct it.
Feeling your nation has been insulted is just ridiculous though but to be fair it was not the Spanish claiming that but some professor being outraged on their behalf.
Cottage pie. Shepherd pie. Whatever. It's all delicious. If you want to used beef instead of lamb, no big deal.
No big deal so long as you give it the correct name, lamb is more expensive and IMO better tasting so if it's called shepherds pie but contains beef you have been swindled.
We're Americans. We don't make a distinction. If Cottage Pie was on a menu it would have to be described as "Shepard's Pie made with beef" or no one would order it. Or would think its a pie of cottage cheese or something.
We haven't quite gotten past the fact that there are non-dessert pies

Call it cattle herders pie then if it helps you make the connection between shepherds and lamb....
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

It's called hamburger pie, and cheeseburger pie, and they're delicious.

What would happen if Hair God told this harpie on day one "you're fired?" Because I want to find out.
Obama taps Harvard for new “War on Men” Czar
College men, meet Mia Karvonides, your new worst nightmare. Currently she’s the head of the “Title IX and Gender Equity” office at Harvard University, charged with ensuring there is no safe space for men anywhere at Harvard.
. . .
Intent on taking this “War on Men” national, President Obama and his minions have engineered the appointment of Ms. Karvonides, effective Jan. 17, to serve as the federal government’s top official in charge of enforcing Title IX against all colleges and universities, according to a Harvard Crimson story . . ..
Seriously, DJT is going to send her ass packing back to Cambridge on Jan. 20, right? Right?

Do we know that he is aware of campus SJW culture? He knows about the PC police as an adult dealing with it in the professional world, but has he shown he's aware....wait....he probably heard about it during the election when college kids were showing their ass. He probably knows.

I'm gonna go with staged. Never heard of the express before. Probably never would have either. Probably a stunt. I grew up listening to drive time radio DJs playing canned skits and passing them off as real. Everything's fake.
