Either you want people to stay at home and social distance or you do not want that. There is no in between. You are against the skate parks, gathering in small groups, and the rest. As you say the virus does not respect your gathering limit and skate park boundaries. You have lost your damn mind. If a bunch of people holding up signs in front of state capitol are exposing people to the virus then so is a trip to the beach, meeting a Tinder thot, watching a sunset, going to a gym, going to a store to buy groceries, going to buy gardening supplies, or lottery tickets. You just admitted to speaking from ignorance, you don't know the exact constraints to which citizens in other states are living under but you want them jailed regardless. You are being a total hypocritical Karen. You wanted to deny people medical care because of Facebook post. You dove off the deep end and are struggling to get out the pool when you got caught being a giant hypocrite. It's ok, you got caught, just admit your sins against the wrath of the virus and pray for forgiveness.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 10:13 amYou keep telling me what I said when I know I didn't say that. I am not sure if that is just because you guys lost your damned minds or what.
I don't agree with shutting down your skate parks or whatever else. My state is doing fine. We can meet in small groups. Nobody is getting arrested for watching the sunset. LOL
That sounds like a California problem to me.
As far as your not accepting reality.. that's just a fact. I have watched you guys nonstop repeat bad math and proclaim the virus is anywhere between a hoax and "it's just a flu, bro". At some point reality is going to come at you. Most of us are likely to catch this at some point on our glorious journey to herd immunity. Hopefully we can keep that progress slow enough so as not to blast straight the fuck through our surge capacity, but judging by the total morons I see in footage of quarantine protests, my hopes are not strong on that score. Good luck, I guess.
It's times like these that I realize our nation's reputation for being stupid AF can possibly be warranted.
The sad part is that you guys made it worse for yourselves. We could possibly have opened shit up for a few months and then start phasing back into lockdown for Fall. But nobody is going to budge on that because we all know what will happen with the crazies.
Consider that you guys are acting crazier than the libs did in 2016. This shit is off the hook fucking crazy. I am not being hyperbolic when I say I fully expect these people to start getting up in our faces to "taunt" people by exposing them to a virus the protestors think is a hoax. After all, if you really believe it's just a hoax or the flu, then the economic depression we are headed into because of the lockdowns would seem like an act of war to you. And if the virus is not really a threat, then why would you see it doing any harm to taunt other Americans by blowing in their faces or whatever when you think you can possibly prove it's not dangerous by doing so?
This country is about go fucking nuts.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

While I tend to agree that there's an increasingly shrill, doomsday vibe from certain media voices, this...
..is also not true. There is no rule that says you can/must only choose between two extremes, and if there is... it's a retarded rule that shouldn't be followed. Choosing to reduce the risk of contagion, doesn't equal having to institute East German Stasi-like methods. Some think it does/should, but they are the sort of people who are panicky by nature. There is no in between.
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.

Dude. Our entire society is built on choosing between two extremes.BjornP wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 2:01 pmWhile I tend to agree that there's an increasingly shrill, doomsday vibe from certain media voices, this...
