I think it could be practically anyone except the Iranians in this case. The US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, or even Russia is way more likely than Iran. Could even be the French or the Brits, as they've done similar shit in the past. This is really too close to home to be Iran. If a ship crossing the Suez had been hit by missiles from some unknown group, Iran could've provided the missiles. But they're not fucking stupid enough to do it there.
