They lost me when Jamie was galloping I to a dragon, got knocked off his horse, then fell into 30 ft of water, then got dragged out by a midget.

Or the warp speed dragon flight to the North to rescue 3 morons.

Or the fact that it took the zombies 3 YEARS to march from The Fist to the Wall. But takes no time at all for Jon Snow to nail Khaleesi.

Hahaha. Season 7 of 8 is a bit late for "they lost me". I agree it was a bit farfetch'd hauling armor clad Jamie out of 30 feet of water, still with his fancy sword. But it was Bronn not Tyrion.

So the airspeed of a laden dragon is what pushes you over the edge, but the other unrealistic aspects of Westeros like asbestos blondes don't bother you?

Seriously, I normally hate fantasy, won't read it, but this is historicalish, beautifully photographed, and well written enough that I can suspend disbelief and enjoy it.

That’s why it took me so long to lose interest. It was Show #1 for a while there.

That's where I'm at with it. At this point, I just want the end. I'm hoping that it won't go the way of Lost. Those writers had no clue how to answer the questions they posed all the way back in season 1, so they just threw some shit at the wall and told people to suck an egg.

If that's what GoT does, peeps are gonna be mad. There had better be something resembling a satisfactory resolution. I hope Cersei dies a slow and painful death.

Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

I quit watching that pozzed piece of shit as soon as they played midget porn.

I think that was somewhere in episode one.

Right around the opening credits.
But there was so much rape, dismemberment and general nastiness, you'd have loved it! It's a totally nihilistic, Hobbesian world, with occasional magic, usually used for more nastiness and mayhem. Did I mention tits? There's some of the finest pairs ever to grace the small screen, I mean the casting director had exquisite taste in tits.

The one on the top has very impressive breasts.

I dropped LOST when time travel reared it's ugly head. Glad I did after hearing where it went. If you want a grand resolution to mysteries I think you're going to be disappointed, I don't think he has an underlying idea. My impression, having read the books too, is he would rather have been writing historical fiction, but felt he was trapped in the genre in which he had found success. It took a long time for magic to even play a major role in the plots of GoT. FFS, the Westerosi didn't even believe in magic!

My preferred ending: the Westerosi Old Gods wake the fuck up and do battle with the Army of the Dead. Why are the only active Gods like the Lord of Light and the Many-Faced God overseas?

I don't consider early in Season II to be a "long time." I think it showed up pretty early.

Even more impressive when you know she's no teenager, she's now 42, so had to be like 37 when that was filmed.
