It's 1735 miles from Comitan, Mexico to El Paso, Texas, USA.

The US Cavalry mounted on horses would average 35 miles a day. Let's assume these folks can walk 25 miles a day. It would take them 70 days to reach El Paso, without taking a day to rest. Let's see how long it takes them.
