My civilian work had us go to this leadership development training. This is where I first encountered Meyers-Briggs. I'm an ENTJ, really got into reading about personality types and relating to other personality types, blah, blah. It is helpful as a leader to understand your subordinates, but it's not in my top ten on steering the ship. I'm just not that serious about it anymore.

I just got INFJ so I guess as long as your plans align with my ideals you will have a very loyal helper. If not, maybe look out for friendly fire or something.

I've learned over time, painfully, to control the beast. Turns out your bosses don't really want to hear how their leadership is fucked up and you have better answers.

It is weird, arrogant as fuck, and narcissistic as hell to generally think you are the smartest guy in the room*, view others as tools, understand you have to let them feel good about themselves and their contributions, but if we really need to get shit done, I will be calling the shots.

*Not necessarily the most academically intelligent
