Re: post hockey here if you are a commie fag
Blackhawks losing to Coyotes 2-0, at the end of the first. Speaking of teams in need of a rebuild.

So what happened to the Houston Aeros? I see now that hockey is indeed far superior for pissing off leftists and it is exclusively White. This is something I can get into. I feel like I'm going to root for the Red Wings because my grandpa lived in Detroit when he was a kid. He taught me a very valuable lesson when I was a kid. He said he used to play marbles with the blacks in Detroit and one time they took his marbles. So the next day he comes back with a big stick. They did not take his marbles again.

WHA Houston Aeros folded with the WHA, AHL Houston Aeros moved to Iowa and rebranded as the Wild, farm team for Minnesota.
There's an ownership group making a pitch to move the Arizona Coyotes to Houston now, so could be an NHL Houston Aeros if that comes to pass.

Yeah I know, but that is such a slog.Smitty-48 wrote:Rangers need a complete rebuild, no need to get rid of Lundqvist, it's good to have a goalie for a rebuild, but pretty much everybody else has to go, the Rangers need multiple top ten picks to restock the team from the ground up.clubgop wrote:Says judged sports are shit, go on to talk about judged sports.Montegriffo wrote:USA bossing the womens half pipe.
I don't understand the scoring but it's spectacular to watch.
Let's go Rangers

Hope so. The Texans suck. Houston is a plague for franchises for whatever reason. Well I take that back. The Astros are pretty good. Also more White than football. Guess I should pick up watching the Astros since I do like baseball.Smitty-48 wrote:WHA Houston Aeros folded with the WHA, AHL Houston Aeros moved to Iowa and rebranded as the Wild, farm team for Minnesota.

Not if you live through your prospects in the near term, you just have to get into looking to the future, Vesey, Buchnevich, Andersson, Chytil, DeAngelo, Rangers have Igor Shesterkyn in the KHL, playing for the Russians in the Olympics, he's one of the top goaltending prospects in the world, so the cupboard is not completely bare. If Sean Day could turn out to be a player, that would be good for the Rangers, cause he has all the parts to be a top four Dman if he can put it all together.clubgop wrote:Yeah I know, but that is such a slog.Smitty-48 wrote:Rangers need a complete rebuild, no need to get rid of Lundqvist, it's good to have a goalie for a rebuild, but pretty much everybody else has to go, the Rangers need multiple top ten picks to restock the team from the ground up.clubgop wrote:

But how much of that will pan out? There is a couple of duds there. I loathe "the process."Smitty-48 wrote:Not if you live through your prospects in the near term, you just have to get into looking to the future, Vesey, Buchnevich, Andersen, Chytil, DeAngelo, Rangers have Igor Shesterkyn in the KHL, playing for the Russians in the Olympics, he's one of the top goaltending prospects in the world, so the cupboard is not completely bare. The Rangers should basically keep Zebinejad, McDonagh, and Lundqvist to be the veteran leaders, dump everybody else over 25 for picks and prospects, and then just play the kids.

Yeah, well, that's why they should strip it down, so they can amass more top ten, and even more preferably top five picks, because a player like Brady Tkachuk for instance, there's no process with him, he will play in the NHL next year, and he will be a force right out of the gate, so the better the pick, the quicker the payoff.clubgop wrote:But how much of that will pan out?
