Our son, with Aspberger's, can only get a 30 day supply of his medication. The renewal script has to be hand-delivered to the pharmacy every 30 days, not 29 days. Every 90 days, we have to drive back to the doctor to get three more hand-written scripts.

On our most recent road trip. we had to show the pharmacist our confirmed reservation for a hotel in Chicago, in order to fill his script ONE DAY early.

He has Aspberger's, so of course, once in awhile, he loses a pill. It's too bad, so sad land for him.

The government has way too much control over our lives, and it sickens me. People want to OD on drugs? Let them. Quit fucking up life for the rest of us. We have got to stop legislating to the lowest common denominator.

As a side note, I was taking a semi-synthetic opiate for five years that helped with my own condition. (An off label usage.) Never took too much, never had to beg the doctor for more, but because of this bullshit, I can no longer get it. The alternatives work, but not nearly as well, so I am permanently stuck without helpful medications because the government is here to help. Fuck them.
Yep and that is why I have a Libertarian mindset that borderlines on anarchy.

The opioid crisis has hit my area hard. Hell last year a little shit town city that I live 10 miles from made national news. Here is the article.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/won ... 1a2352e715

I was born in that city and we have a couple of rental homes there. The place is a shit hole that use to be a nice place to live 40 years ago before all the mills shut down. It's a typical Ohio river/rust belt town/city. There is no opportunity and instead of moving, people live in swaller and fall down the drug hole. The shit economy in the USA has a direct correlation with the drug abuse in the USA.

The Opioid Crisis is hitting all these communities that used to have an industrial base. The best thing we can do to roll back the Opioid Crisis is put them to work.

I just don't know how these people are getting these drugs. I had a root canal two years ago. The local anesthetic didn't work. Dentist was hitting raw nerve for a solid hour. I cried the whole time. My shirt was soaking wet afterwards. I couldn't even get a single Tylenol with codeine.

Who is giving these people pain pills?

You got a hardcore doctor............ most have prescribed them pretty readily. My daughter had wisdom teeth out and got 2 kinds of opiods. We let her taken them for the first 24 hrs, then cut her off, but she had a 2 week supply. I still have them around in a box.

How many you need Kath

Yet in Canada Tylenol with Codeine is over the counter medicine..... at least it use to be. Maybe one of our Canadian members could shed light on that. The reason I remember that was Boomer from ESPN was caught on mic talking about smuggling it back to the States.

Why, I'm waiting for the clamp down, then when the street price gets to a Benjamin per pill I'm financing a fishing trip with them.
